One light is a spiritual center that respects and honors diversity.  I find it to be a safe place to explore my own spiritual growth.  One Light is also a sacred environment where creativity, honesty, and discernment are encouraged and supported.  One Light enriches my life on many levels and I am ever grateful that we have such a loving community right here on Cape Cod!

When my wife told me about the new center, I thought to myself, "This might be just what I'm looking for.”  I wanted to be a part of the creation of a center for meditation, music, and sharing. I don't care for the "structured" style of religion - too stiff for me. But I knew I needed something more at this time in my spiritual journey and I found it. At One Light I found it to be open, honest and casual. I feel the messages coming from the heart, not a text. I found others that felt the same way I did. It turned out to be a good thing I do for myself twice a month. I made some good friends I'm sure I will have for a long time.

To spend an hour with like-minded people who are seeking and extending Peace, Joy, Happiness and Truth, is a very warm and rewarding experience for the soul.

I had left my former spiritual community and missed being part of a group of like minded-people who shared some of my beliefs and perspectives. When we started one light I was very excited. I had a community once again. I have found good friends, I am learning, I am growing spiritually. It is all I need.

One Light provides a safe environment to explore and honor Spirit through song, meditation, reading, lessons, prayer, and sharing with others, yet it is free from any hidden dogma or agenda one finds within a "church." It is an enjoyable and gentle experience that connects Spirit with self and with others.

I listen to my heart.  I did not always listen there to make all my life decisions.  Before I discovered this way, I tried to use my reasoning, learning, and past experiences to make the best choices for myself and those depending on me.  In some ways I am a slow learner.  After many years of mixed life results by trying to apply the ideas and religious philosophies of others, I knew there had to be a better way for me to be in touch with the Sacred I sensed daily in my personal routines.  I finally realized the experiences that left me feeling happiest were always the ones guided intuitively by my heart.

For me One Light augments my personal intuitive experience of Sacred Companionship Within by coming to know other Seekers on this same path.  This is such a loving community that members often choose to open their inner hearts here to the Sacred Presence Within each other, and it is a palpable experience.  When we meditate or sing or listen together at One Light, I feel a linking occurs between our souls that is difficult to describe in words, but my heart overflows with serenity and joy.  When I am reading aloud or speaking to others during the service, it feels to me as if only loving eyes and ears are there in that holy space.  And there is always a respectful welcome for each new discovery of Sacred Fingerprints wherever one of us finds them in life.  At each service I have attended I have come away knowing absolutely that my heart was delighted to openly reach into the holy blessing of sharing the Sacred in and around us all at One Light.

Life is a journey ... a path which takes many twists and turns.  On my path I have encountered a wide variety of spiritual teachings (and teachers, as well!).  In many cases, unfortunately, the Truth either became obscured with lofty words, or clouded by the critical judgments of an appointed hierarchy.  In other cases, politics and egos became the forefront of a religious organization, marring the original pure intentions that created it. Tired of feeling the same disillusionments, a group of like-minded individuals have created something new ... something wonderful, called One Light - A Center for Spiritual Transformation. Here there is no hierarchy.  There are no judgments. Egos are checked at the door, and all are free to share, to read, to sing, to speak, to meditate, to be a part of a spiritual "experience."  Here there is no separation, because we know separation is an illusion; we are one mind, one heart, One Light!

One Light is a place that allows me to be still, centered, and thankful for what I have and who I am. I am truly present and that’s the gift that One Light gives me. It keeps me going through the week with some direction. It’s the eye in the storm of life; I can drop my anchor and be in safe harbor with like minded people -spiritual people that I have grown to love and admire, and can truly call friends.   I look forward to each Sunday we meet. This is a group effort and I know I am not alone - - I think that’s why it feels right. Our community is built on understanding, respect, and love for one another.

After searching for the “perfect religion” for many, many years, I came across A Course In Miracles through the Unity Church I was attending at the time.  The Course has changed my life.  Every day new “miracles” occur in my life just from looking at situations and problems a different way.  Now we have a new place to come together on Sundays as well, to share our oneness through different paths.  The people who attend are wonderful, and I find so much joy and peace in this place.
