What is One Light? One Light is a community of like-minded people who gather twice monthly to share our experience of God and fortify our individual spiritual practice. Are you a church? No – to many people the word “church” signifies a particular dogma or belief system, and we see value in a myriad of practices and teachers. We like the term community, for it conjures up images of communion, fellowship, participation, and commonality of purpose. When do you meet? We meet on the second and fourth Sunday of each month at 10:00 AM at the CC&RA Conference Center. What is your service like? We have music, a reading, meditation, a talk presented by a guest speaker or one of our members, and a social hour after the service. Do you offer Sunday School? Sorry, no. We are in the formative stages of our community and we have not developed a youth program. What is your stand on diversity? We recognize the beauty and dignity in all people, regardless of race, ethnic background, gender, sexual orientation, physical or mental abilities, or any of the many factors that can be used to stereotype, classify, and divide people.
